Mom is still in the ICU today. They were going back in this morning to attempt to stitch her up, which they were successful at. They had to do a lot of stitching and pulling, so they have decided to leave her sedated (and consequently intabated) to control her pain. I am skeptical, but that is what they say.
Yesterday she was pretty conscious. They kept reducing her pain medication and sedation because they couldn't control her blood pressure. She was in a lot of pain!
