I know how to get a kid to sleep in his own bed!

Try to not let him! In spite of my and Dad's protests, Elias insisted on sleeping in his own room in his own bed last night! It was the first time he ever slept in his room alone! The night before was the 1st time he ever slept in his room (with Dad)! (We protested because we were both tired, and Elias didn't fall asleep till 11, and if he's in our room with us, he lays there, and we can half sleep through his gibber. For this event, he came in to check on us every 10 minutes or so, but then insisted on going back).

Independence fought for is more valuable? I got a feeling we are at the end of our constant co sleeping days with Elias- all on his own!
